Terms of Service

By accessing the CVD Technologies website or engaging our engineering services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Engineering Consulting Services

CVD Technologies provides bespoke system architecture, high-concurrency database design, and managed SaaS deployment. The specific scope, deliverables, and timelines for any engagement will be outlined in a separate Statement of Work (SOW).

2. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stipulated in a bespoke SOW, custom code and infrastructure blueprints developed specifically for a client transfer to the client upon full payment. CVD Technologies retains the rights to pre-existing open-source tools, internal deployment scripts, and general methodologies used during the engagement.

3. Service Availability

For managed SaaS deployments, Service Level Agreements (SLAs) regarding uptime, redundancy, and incident response times are detailed in individual client contracts. Our public website and blog are provided "as is" without guaranteed uptime.

4. Limitation of Liability

While we architect systems for maximum resilience, CVD Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including data loss or business interruption) arising from the use of our services, beyond the scope defined in direct client contracts.

5. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the recognized jurisdictions of Nairobi.
